Hon'ble Manjive Shukla,J. 1. Heard Sri Utsav Bajpai Advocate holding brief of Sri, Anu Pratap Singh learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State. 2. The instant petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India has been filed, praying therein for the following relief :- "Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding U.P. State Public Services Tribunal, Lucknow to decide the claim petition no. 983 of 2009 Bhaiya Lal v. State of U.P. and others expeditiously within stipulated period" 3. It has been argued on behalf of the petitioners that the claim petition had been filed by the petitioners in the year 2009 and the same is pending till date. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners has submitted that it would be in the interest of justice, if this Court directs the learned Tribunal to expedite the hearing of the claim petition in question and decide it, within a fixed time frame. 5. Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State does not have any objection to the innocuous prayer made on behalf of the petitioner. 6. I have considered the arguments advanced by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and I find that the claim petition filed by the petitioners, bearing Claim Petition No. 983 of 2009 (Bhaiya Lal vs State of U.P. & Ors.), is pending before the learned State Public Services Tribunal, Indira Bhawan, Lucknow since the year 2009. 7. In view of the aforesaid reasons, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the learned State Public Services Tribunal, Indira Bhawan, Lucknow to expedite the hearing of the Claim Petition No. 983 of 2009 (Bhaiya Lal vs State of U.P. & Ors.) and decide it expeditiously, preferably within a period of six months.
