Petitioner served as Junior Clerk in Uttarakhand Transport Corporation. He retired from service in the year 2024. According to him, all other similarly situate employees were given full benefit of 6th Pay Commission; however, he was denied similar benefits. Relief sought in this writ petition is as follows: “Issue a writ, order, direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent no. 2 & 3 to grant the petitioner the full benefits of the 6th Pay Commission effective from 01.01.2006, along with all arrears and applicable interest.” 3. Mr. N.S. Pundir, learned counsel appearing for Uttarakhand Transport Corporation assures that if petitioner makes representation, the same shall be considered by the competent authority, as per law, within four months 4. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of with liberty to petitioner to make representation to Managing Director, 2025:UHC:9617 Uttarakhand Transport Corporation. If petitioner makes such representation to the Managing Director, the same shall be considered, as per law and appropriate order shall be passed within four months from date of receipt of such representation along with certified copy of this order.
