The captioned Writ Petition is filed seeking a Writ of Certiorari to quash the order dated 22.03.2019 in IMP- 01/2010-11 passed by the first respondent vide Annexure-G. 3. Heard the arguments and perused the Writ papers with care. 4. Suffice it to note that the petitioner has assailed the order dated 22.03.2019 passed by the District Registrar and Assistant Commissioner of Stamps and Registration, Mysore before this Court in the year 2021. The order of the District Registrar is furnished along with the Writ Petition and the same is marked as Annexure-G. A perusal of the same reflects that the District Registrar passed the order back in the year 2019 i.e., on 22.03.2019. There is an inordinate delay in filing the Writ Petition. A perusal of the petition averments reflects that absolutely there are no reasons to condone the delay. The Writ Petition is liable to be dismissed on the grounds of delay and - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC:379 WP No. 1969 of 2021 laches. Therefore, the Writ Petition is liable to be dismissed on the grounds of delay and laches. Since the Writ Petition is dismissed on the ground of delay and laches, there is nothing to discuss on the merits of the case. 5. Resultantly, the Writ Petition is dismissed.
