Chutia, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Amiya Bhuyan, who has filed this application under 482 BNSS, 2023 with a prayer for pre- arrest bail as he is apprehending arrest in connection with Jonai P.S. Case No. 44/2025 under Sections 281/ 106(1) BNS, 2023. 2. Heard Mr. B. Sarma, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor, Assam, appearing for Page No.# 2/2 the State respondent, who has submitted that the petitioner is booked under bailable offences and thereby this petition is not maintainable. 3. The allegation against the petitioner is that he drove his scooty in a rash and negligent manner, consequentially causing grievous injuries on informant’s brother and the informant’s brother later on succumbed to his injuries. 4. I have considered the submissions at the bar with circumspection. 5. I have also considered the submission that the petitioner is booked under Section 281/ 106(1) BNS thereby as the offences are bailable offence. This petition for pre-arrest bail is thus dismissed.
