PUBLIC PROSECUTOR The Court made the following Order: Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Public Prosecutor appearing for the State. 2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is arraigned as accused No.3 in Crime No.13 of 2025 on the file of Thondur Police Station, for alleged offences under Sections 118(1), 109, 351(2) read with 3(5) of BNS. It is submitted that the 2nd respondent is said to have been attacked by the accused and on the strength of the complaint filed by the 2nd 2 respondent, the police have registered the case. It is submitted that the petitioner was not available at the scene of offence and in this regard filed W.P.No.4953 of 2025 seeking a direction from this Court to the concerned respondents to preserving the CC TV footages. This Court has disposed of the writ petition, directing the 4th respondent therein to preserve the CC TV footages as sought in the writ petition. 3. Considering the submissions, the Station House Officer, Thondur Police Station is directed to complete the investigation, without taking any coercive steps against the petitioner in Crime No.13 of 2025. This would not preclude the Investigating Officer from filing final report/charge sheet. 4. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. 5.
