Mr. Vinay Kumar, Advocate, for the petitioner. Mr. Narayan Datt, Standing Counsel, for the State. (2) According to petitioner, being senior most Assistant Teacher, LT Grade, he was given officiating charge of Principal of a Govt. Higher Secondary School, however petitioner was subsequently divested of the said charge and the same was given to another person, who is much junior to the petitioner in the cadre of Assistant Teacher, LT Grade. In this writ petition, petitioner has challenged the said order, whereby a junior person has been given officiating charge of Principal. (3) Officiating charge as Principal given to the petitioner does not create any right in his favour, however petitioner cannot be made to serve under his own junior, who is given officiating charge. (4) Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach the competent authority by making a representation. If petitioner makes representation within one week from today, Regional Additional Director, Kumaon shall take decision thereupon, as per law, within six weeks thereafter.
