19.06.2025
[1] Heard Mr. I. Lalitkumar, learned Sr. counsel assisted by Ms. Deepika, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner; Mr. BR, learned CGSC appearing for the respondent nos. 1 to 7; and Mr. Th. Vashum, learned GA appearing for the respondent nos. 8 & 10. [2] None appears for respondent no. 9. [3] At the outset, it has been pointed by Mr. BR Sharma, learned CGSC that the present petitioner has already filed a second appeal dated 07.05.2025 before the Inspector General of Police, Manipur and Nagaland Sector, CRPF, Imphal (Manipur) under Rule 29 of the CRPF Rules, 1955 against the impugned termination order dated 25.05.2023 and the same is still pending. It has been submitted by the learned CGSC that since the second appeal is pending before the competent authority, the present writ petition is pre-mature and the same can be disposed of by issuing direction to the competent authority to consider the said appeal filed by the petitioner.
