P. -------- 03/ Dated 11.09.2025 Heard the parties. The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Chandil (Kapali) P.S. Case No. 139 of 2020 (S-1), M.C.R.A. No.475 of 2025, for the offence under Sections 20(b)/II(C) of N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the court of learned Principal District & Sessions Judge, Seraikella. In the night of 11/12.08.2020, Chandil (Kapali) Police intercepted aInnova car bearing registration No. OR-02BA-3366 from a place near Bandhugora Harimandir. On search, 100 kgs of cannabis were recovered from the said vehicle. It was submitted that petitioner was neither apprehended at the spot nor anything was recovered from his possession. It was further submitted that the name of the petitioner has come in the confession of apprehended co-accused persons, who had stated that the petitioner was also involved in trade of narcotics. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Principal District & Sessions Judge, Seraikella, in connection with Chandil (Kapali) P.S. Case No. 139 of 2020 (S-1), M.C.R.A. No.475 of 2025. (Ambuj Nath, J.) BS/-
