Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC-LKO:47325 Court No. - 8 Case :- WRIT - A No. - 6552 of 2025 Petitioner :- Km. Priti And Another Respondent :- State Of U.P. Thru. Prin./Addl. Chief Secy. Deptt. Of Irrigation U.P. Lko. And 2 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Ankit Kumar Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C. Hon'ble Manish Mathur,J. 1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned counsel for the State-opposite parties and perused the material available on record. 2. This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the opposite party No. 3 to consider their representation for typing- test in accordance with law. 3. From the material on record, it appears that earlier as well the petitioners had filed Writ-A No. 5597 of 2023, as per which petitioners were granted compassionate appointment, but they were unable to clear the typing-test required for Class III post. The said writ petition was disposed of by means of order dated 02.08.2023 granting another opportunity to petitioners to qualify the typing-test with proficiency of 25 Words Per Minute, whereafter only upon failure to comply with the aforesaid qualification the petitioners were to be considered for appointment on a Class III post. 4. It also appears from the letter dated 18.03.2024 (Annexure- 10 to the writ petition) that subsequently another typing-test was taken on 18.03.2024 in which the petitioner No. 1 procured only 17 Words Per minute, while petitioner No. 2 was recorded as having obtained below standard words. 5. Learned State Counsel, who has been provided written- instructions dated 31.07.2025, a copy of which is taken on record, submitted that subsequently the petitioners have joined on a Class IV post. 6. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances, it is evident that despite another opportunity having been granted in terms of order dated 24.08.2023 passed by this Court petitioners have been unable to qualify for the typing-test. 7. It also appears that they have subsequently joined on a Class IV post on compassionate basis. 8. In view of the aforesaid, this court does not find any occasion to grant any further indulgence. The writ petition, therefore, fails and is dismissed, but without any adverse effect to the benefits already granted to the petitioners. (Manish Mathur, J.)
