Petitioner alleges the death of her husband due to electrocution on 20.12.2024 and seeks compensation. However, there is a procedure prescribed in this regard under Section 161 of the Electricity Act, 2003, under which an inquiry is to be conducted by the Electricity Inspector under Opposite Party No.3 but no such report is on record. 3. Let the petitioner approach Opposite Party No.3, who may look into the matter and do the needful but as per law. 4. If the petitioner is required to submit information in any form, Opposite Party No.3 will advise the petitioner accordingly. Thereafter, he shall ensure appropriate action in terms of Section 161 of the Electricity Act, if there is a cause and take further action to communicate the result thereof to Opposite Party No. 4 for further action. 5.
