By this petition, the petitioner has prayed for issuance of a direction to opposite party no. 2 to consider the case of the petitioner for transfer from District Aligarh (Aligarh Range) to District Sambhal (Moradabad Range) on compassionate grounds. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is presently posted in Kotwali City, District Aligarh. The petitioner is married to Mrs. Anjali who was appointed on 12.05.2019 on the post of Constable Civil Police and presently she is posted at Mahila Thana, Bahjoi, District Sambhal. It has been further submitted that in view of para 5(iii) of transfer policy of the State dated 11.06.2024, contained in Annexure No.6 to the petition, the case of the petitioner is liable to be considered for being posted along with his wife. Learned Chief Standing Counsel conceded the submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner. With the consent of the parties, the petition is disposed of directing the petitioner to file a fresh representation before respondent no. 2 within one week from today. In case, such a representation is submitted by the petitioner, the same shall be considered and decided by passing a reasoned and speaking order within a further period of one month.
