The present petition has been filed with the following prayer: "(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus thereby commanding and directing the opposite party no.2 to grant the arm license of Revolve/ Pistol to the petitioner forthwith, in the interest of justice. (ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus thereby commanding and directing the opposite party no.2 to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 23.5.23025 contained in Annexure No.1 to this writ petition by a speaking and reasoned order within a period as fixed by this Hon'ble Court in accordance with law and communicate the decision to the petitioner." 3. Considering the relief as sought, the present petition is disposed off directing the District Magistrate, Lucknow to consider and decide the abovesaid application in accordance with law with all expedition preferably within a period of four months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.
