For a limited purpose, the instant writ petition has been preferred for issuing directions to the Rent Tribunal, Jaipur Metropolitan, Jaipur for deciding the Rent Eviction Application No.579/2013 expeditiously within time frame. (2 of 2) [CW-8106/2025] 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the Rent Eviction Application submitted by the petitioners against the respondents under Section 9 of the Rajasthan Rent Control Act, 2001 (for short “the Act of 2001”) is lying pending for adjudication before the Tribunal since last more than 12 years and till date the said application has not been decided, hence, appropriate directions be issued to the Tribunal to speed up the proceedings of the case pending before it. 3. Considering the above submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner and looking to the fact that application filed by the petitioners under Section 9 of the Act of 2001 is pending since last more than 12 years, this Court deems it just and proper to dispose of the writ petition by issuing directions to the Tribunal to make all possible endeavors to decide the aforesaid application expeditiously as early as possible, preferably within a period of one year from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. 4. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. All applications (pending, if any) also stand disposed of. (ANOOP KUMAR DHAND),J Karan/33
