The petitioner has been arrested in FIR 0114/2022 under Sections 376, 417, 109 IPC. The petitioner had earlier approached the Court of Presiding Officer of the Fast Track, Jammu for grant of bail, but the order dated 03.12.2025 passed by the Fast Track Court, Jammu demonstrates the said bail application was unilaterally withdrawn by the petitioner. 2. However, Mr. G. S. Thakur, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the bail application was withdrawn only when the Presiding Officer of Fast Track Court, Jammu observed that this Court is already seized of the matter in respect of quashing of FIR and has disposed of the application for grant of anticipatory bail. Be that as it may, this Court is inclined to entertain this application for grant of bail and, as such, the same is disposed of leaving the petitioner free to approach the Fast Track Court, Jammu at first instance. In the event, the petitioner approaches the Fast Track Court, Jammu for grant of bail, the same be considered in accordance with law as expeditious as possible, without being influenced with the pendency of the petition for quashing of FIR before this Court or the disposal of the application for grant of anticipatory bail.
