HIGH COURT OF JAMMU & KASHMIR AND LADAKH AT JAMMU CJ Court Case: CPSW No.115/2014 in SWP No. 1103/2013 Malik Zaffer Naaz Iqbal …Petitioner(s)/Appellant(s) Through: None V/s Pawan Kotwal and ors. …. Respondent(s) Through: Ms. Sagira Jaffar, Assisting Counsel to Ms. Monika Kohli, Sr. AAG CORAM: HON’BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE ORDER 19.12.2025 1. The petitioner seeks initiation of contempt proceedings against the respondents for non compliance of the order dated May 16, 2013, passed by Writ Court in SWP No. 1103/2013 (Malik Zaffer Naaz Iqbal vs. State of J&K and others), vide which the petition filed by the petitioner was disposed of with a direction to the respondents-authorities to consider his claim in accordance with the rules and pass appropriate orders within a specified time. 2. For, the averments set out in Para 4 of the Statement of facts filed on behalf of respondent No. 4 shows that one Shabir Ali had also approached this Court against withholding of his recommendation for appointment upon which this Court had passed certain order which required compliance. And, he was recommended for appointment as Draftsman (Civil). Hence no vacancy subsisted against which the petitioner could be recommended for appointment. 3. That being so, the order passed by this Court stands complied with and nothing survives in the petition. The same is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous. (ARUN PALLI) CHIEF JUSTICE Jammu 19.12.2025 Sunita/Secy. Sr. No. 10 SUNITA KOUL 2025.12.20 13:39 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
