Heard Mr. Naved Ali, learned counsel appearing for the applicant and learned Additional Government Advocate, appearing for the State. 2. In view of the nature of the proposed order, notice to opposite party no.2 is hereby dispensed with. 3. It has been contended on behalf of the applicant that he had appeared before the learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Lucknow in Criminal Case No. 621/2022 "Priyanka Walia Versus Sharath Chandrasekhar" for his cross examination on 14th and 15th May, 2025. On the aforesaid dates since the learned counsel, appearing for opposite party no.2 before the learned Principal Judge, Family Court, came to the court at about 1.15 P.M. therefore, the cross examination of the applicant could not be completed by 5 P.M. on 15.5.2025. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the applicant submits that the next date fixed in the matter before the learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Lucknow is 23rd of June, 2025. 5. He further submits that on the next date the applicant will appear before the court but he wants that a direction may be issued by this Court to the learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Lucknow to start his cross examination at 10.30 A.M. 6. I have considered the submissions advanced by learned counsel for the applicant and I find that the applicant has to come to Lucknow from Bangalore therefore, this Court can issue a direction to the learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Lucknow to ensure that the applicant's cross examination may start at 10.30 A.M. on 23.6.2025 and may be completed at the earliest. 7. Accordingly, this application is disposed of with a direction to the learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Lucknow to ensure the recording of applicant's cross examination on 23.6.2025 at 10.30 A.M. and to conclude it at the earliest. It is further provided that the cousnel representing opposite party no.2 before the trial court, must make himself available at 10.30 A.M. on 23.6.2025 for cross examination of the applicant and if he fails to do so, he will loose the chance to cross examine the applicant.
