Mr. Pan, learned Advocate for the petitioner, submits that by an order dated 31st March, 2023, the application for substitution filed by the legal heirs of the deceased writ petitioner was allowed, and the office was directed to carry out necessary correction in the cause title of this writ petition. However, such correction has not been effected, as would be evident from the certified copy delivered to the legal heirs. In view thereof, the office is directed to carry out necessary amendments in the cause title by incorporating the names of the legal heirs in place of the deceased writ petitioner. The office shall also take back the certified copy earlier delivered to the said legal heirs and issue a fresh certified copy of the order with the corrected and/or amended cause title, upon completion of all requisite formalities.
