1. By this petition, the petitioner herein has alleged non-compliance of the
order passed by this Court on 29.05.2015, in SWP No. 1367/2012 titled
“Arun Kumar vs. State and Ors.”. The relevant extract of the order dated 29.05.2015 is set out below: -
“In the given circumstances, the orders impugned are quashed. Respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for relaxation of his upper age limit in terms of Rule 7 of SRO 43/relaxation policy for his appointment on compassionate grounds keeping in view the facts of this case as well as the inter departmental recommendations made from time to time. Let this exercise be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date a copy of this order is served upon them by the petitioner and necessary orders be passed within two weeks thereafter.”
2. The instant contempt petition was preferred by the petitioner in the year
2016. This Court is of the view, either the grievance of the petitioner has Sr. No. 15

been redressed or the petitioner has lost interest to pursue the instant contempt petition. No useful purpose would be served by keeping the instant contempt petition pending.
3. Accordingly, proceedings in the instant contempt petition are closed, however, liberty is granted to the petitioner to approach this Court to seek revival of the instant contempt petition, if the order dated 29.05.2015 has not been implemented by the respondents.
