In this case, bail application of the applicant was allowed by this Court on 30.12.2024 and he was ordered to be released on bail, on his furnishing personal bond in the sum of Rs.2,00,000/- with two sureties, in the like amount, to the satisfaction of learned trial Court. By way of the present application, the Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Shimla has submitted that Secretary, DLSA, Shimla, when visited Model Central Jail, Kanda, and interacted with Under-trial Prisoner Ram Naresh Rana, then, Ram Naresh Rana has stated that he is not in a position to furnish the requisite bonds, as, he is a poor prisoner, having no source of income. Considering the said fact, the condition with regard to furnishing personal bond in the sum of Rs.2,00,000/- with two sureties, in the like amount, to the satisfaction of learned trial Court, is modified and the applicant is ordered to be released on bail, on his furnishing personal bond in the sum of Rs.50,000/- with two sureties, each, in the like amount, to the satisfaction of learned trial Court. The application stands disposed of. Copy of this order be sent to learned trial Court as well as, Superintendent, Model Central Jail, Kanda, for necessary action and compliance.
