Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC-LKO:34593 Court No. - 5 Case :- MATTERS UNDER ARTICLE 227 No. - 3629 of 2025 Petitioner :- Champa Lal Respondent :- State Public Services Tribunal Lko. Thru. Chairman And 2 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Devansh Mani Counsel for Respondent :- Sheo Prakash Singh Hon'ble Manjive Shukla,J. 1. Heard Sri Devansh Mani Tewari, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State. 2. The instant petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India has been filed, praying therein for the following relief :- "Direct the Learned State Public Services Tribunal, Indira Bhawan, Lucknow to expeditiously decide Claim Petition No. 712 of 2023 Champa Lal versus State of U.P. and another within a time period as deemed just, proper and reasonable by this Hon'ble Court." 3. It has been argued on behalf of the petitioner that the claim petition had been filed by the petitioner in the year 2023 and the same is pending till date. It has further been argued that even an application for urgent hearing had already been filed before the learned Tribunal but till date, the claim petition has not been decided. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that it would be in the interest of justice, if this Court directs the learned Tribunal to expedite the hearing of the claim petition in question and decide it within a fixed time frame. 5. Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State does not have any objection to the innocuous prayer made on behalf of the petitioner. 6. I have considered the arguments advanced by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and I find that the claim petition filed by the petitioner bearing Claim Petition No. 712 of 2023 (Champa Lal vs State of U.P. & Anr.) is pending before the learned State Public Services Tribunal, Indira Bhawan, Lucknow since the year 2023. 7. In view of the aforesaid reasons, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the learned State Public Services Tribunal, Indira Bhawan, Lucknow to expedite the hearing of the Claim Petition No. 712 of 2023 (Champa Lal vs State of U.P. & Anr.) and decide it expeditiously, preferably within a period of six months.
