Impugned in this petition, filed by the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is an order and judgment dated 19.12.2024 passed by the Central Administrative Tribunal (Tribunal) in OA No. 61/1559/2023 titled “Sajjad Hussain vs. UT of J&K and others”. Serial No. 39 2 WP(C) No. 1837/2025 2. During the course of hearing of the matter, Mr. F. A. Natnoo, learned counsel for the respondent states at Bar that OA No. 61/1559/2023 has been rendered infructuous on the day it was decided by the Tribunal along with other connected matters in terms of the judgment impugned. He submits that he has received instructions from the respondent not to press the aforesaid OA as having been rendered infructuous. 3. His statement is taken on record. 4.
