Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing counsel for the respondent nos. 1 and 2, Shri A.P.Singh, learned Senior Advocate assisted by Shri Amarendra Pratap Singh, learned counsel for respondent nos.3,4 and 5. The petitioner through this petition has prayed for the following main reliefs:- "I. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the opposite parties to sanction 2nd promotional pay scale of Rs.10000-325-15200 w.e.f. 21.07.2005 (which was revised w.e.f. 01.01.2006 as Pay Scale Rs.15600-39100, Grade Pay Rs.6600/-) after completion of 24 years of service and 3rd A.C.P. after completion of 26 years from the cut of date 01.12.2008 of Rs.15600- 39100, Grade Pay Rs.7600/- along will all consequential benefits with arrears with 12% interest. II. " After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would suffice if the petitioner is permitted to submit a fresh representation raising his grievances to respondent no. 4, with a direction to decide the same within a stipulated period. Learned Standing Counsel has no objection to this innocuous prayer. Considering the above, the petitioner is directed to submit a fresh representation before respondent no. 4 within two weeks from today and in case, such a representation is submitted, the same shall be decided by respondent no. 4 within a further period of four weeks by passing a reasoned and speaking order. With these observations, the petition stands disposed of. Order Date :- 30.5.2025 Madhu D.R/P.S Digitally signed by :- MADHU KUMARI High Court of Judicature at Allahabad, Lucknow Bench
