The present Interlocutory Application has been instituted praying for striking off the respondent No.1 from the array of the respondents in Contempt Case (C) No. 142/2024. Page No.# 2/2 We have perused the contentions raised in the Interlocutory Application and also appreciated the submissions made by the learned counsel for the applicant. We find in the contempt petition that the Chief General Manager (HRA) Assam Power Distribution Corporation Limited was arrayed as respondent No.1. However, the incumbent therein was not arrayed. Accordingly, the present being a contempt petition, we are of the considered view that the present Interlocutory Application requires to be accepted. Accordingly, the respondent No.1 in the Contempt Case (C) No. 142/2024 stands struck off. Petitioner to file an amended cause title in the Contempt Petition.
