Petitioner is the son of Basanti Devi, who according to the petitioner was owner of the land in question. Contention of the petitioner is that the alleged execution of power of attorney by Basnati Devi-mother of petitioner in favour of Heera Devi for sale of the land in question was fraudulent. As such, the sale deed executed by Basanti Devi in favour of Amarjeet Kaur is also fraudulent. Half of the property was sold by Heera Singh in favour of his wife opposite party no. 7 fraudulently based on the aforesaid power of attorney, hence, this petition seeking the following relief:- "i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the opposite parties and directing them to conduct an enquiry in the matter before executing the sale deed to the opposite party no. 7. ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the opposite parties to decide the application preferred by the petitioners' mother on 18.06.2015 before opposite party no. 2 to 5 within a reasonable time. " The compensation has been paid in respect of the land in question to opposite party nos. 7 and 8 based on the aforesaid transaction. These are not the matters to be considered for adjudication under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. Petitioner may seek the other remedies or approach the authorities, if otherwise permissible. Writ petition stands disposed of.
