This petition has been filed with the following prayers:- "I. That issue writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the opposite parties to issue the character certificate of the petitioner. II. That a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus may be issued thereby directing the opposite parties decide the Commelione representations as contained in Annexure No.11 collectively to this writ petition." It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner need a character certificate to be issued for which he has made an appropriate application before the District Magistrate and also given several representations and reminders to the respondent no.2 regarding the same but till date, such character certificate has not been issued. Therefore, this petition has been filed. Learned Standing Counsel as well as the learned counsel for the Gaon Sabha has pointed out that the petitioner is an unmarried 24 year old young man who lives with his father. His father has illegally constructed his house over land earmarked for manure pit of the Gaon Sabha. Be that as it may, without entering into merits of the case, we direct the competent authority to pass an appropriate order taking into account the objection, if any, that have been taken by the S.D.M. and Gaon Sahba.
