By means of this petition, the petitioner has, inter alia, prayed for a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the opp. party Nos. 2 and 3 to perform their obligatory duties and to clean and Nala and Drains in Buddheshwar Vihar Locality forthwith. Let the petitioner move an application before the opp. party No. 3/Executive Engineer/Zonal Officer, Zone-6, Nagar Nigam (Engineering Department), Lucknow, raising his grievance with regard to the choked Nala and drains in Buddheshwar Vihar Locality, unless this has already been done, whereupon the opp. party No. 3 shall get an on-the-spot inspection conducted and do the needful for cleaning of the said Nalas and drains, but with expedition, say within 4 weeks of receiving a certified copy of this order, unless there is any legal impediment, in which case he will inform the petitioner in writing. If nothing happens within 4 weeks, as aforesaid, the petitioner can approach this court again. Miss Monika Yadav, Advocate, holding brief of Sri Namit sharma, appearing for the Nagar Nigam, Lucknow, shall communicate this order to the opp. party No. 3 for compliance.
