This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:
“.... a) Issue a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents especially Respondents No.4 and 5 herein in calling the petitioner and his family members to the police station continuously and making them stay in the police station from dawn to dusk as per

the terms of a third party and compelling the petitioner to act according to the whims and fancies of the said third party as being illegal, arbitrary and against the Principles of Natural Justice, and consequently direct the Respondent No.4 and 5 not to call the petitioner and his family members to the police station on one pretext or another.”
2. Ms.S.Ayesha Azma, learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that the Police are calling the Petitioner and his family members to the Police Station everyday and are making them to sit for the whole day. 3. Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submit that, based on the complaint lodged by one Ammireddy Rajani against the Petitioner, Respondents – Police called both parties for preliminary enquiry and have given counseling to both parties. Respondents – Police never called the Petitioner and his family members to the Police Station continuously and never made them to stay for the whole day. 4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
However, Police are directed to follow due process of law to secure the presence of the Petitioner in the Police Station relating to the Crime, if any, registered against him. There shall be no order as to costs.
