Let the petitioner respond to the show cause notice dated 18.11.2024 mentioning the factum of conclusion of the criminal proceedings initiated against him and its result whereupon the Regional Passport Officer, Lucknow shall get the facts verified and take a decision regarding issuance of passport to the petitioner expeditiously, say within the next three weeks. At this stage, the petitioner's Counsel says that he has not received the show cause notice whereupon learned Counsel for the Regional Passport Officer says that he may submit an application irrespective of it and appear before the Regional Passport Officer, Lucknow. Shri Varun Pandey, learned Counsel for the opposite parties shall communicate our order to the said officers for compliance. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
