If some entry has been made in the revenue records which the petitioner claims to be illegal, the remedy is to get it corrected under the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006. 3. However, as regards the question as to whether the land has been acquired or not, let the Sub Divisional Magistrate concerned, if the petitioner so applies, inform him as to the acquisition proceedings and provide the notification, if he has information in this regard.
