Respondent(s) Through: Ms.Saliqa Sheikh, Assisting counsel to Mr. Raman Sharma, Sr. Advocate (AAG) CORAM: HON’BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE ORDER 20.12.2025 01. The petitioner seeks initiation of contempt proceedings against the respondents for wilful disobedience of the order and judgment passed by the writ Court in SWP No.2171/2011 dated September 13, 2013. Whereby, the respondent-authorities were directed to accord consideration to the petitioner’s case for appointment to the post of Lecturer in Commerce Discipline in Higher Education Department, having regard to the consideration accorded in the case of Ms. Revika Arora and taken a decision in the matter within a specified period. 02. The record shows that for want of process fee the notice could not be issued to the respondents. 03. The petition is pending over for 11 years. None is present either on behalf of the petitioner to pursue the petition. It appears that the matter is rendered infructuous with efflux of time and same is disposed of as such. However, in the event any dispute/cause of action still survives, the petitioner shall be at liberty to move an application for restoration of the petition and appropriate orders.
