The present Application has been filed for regular bail in connection with the First Information Report No. 5 of 2025, registered at police station Bhagwanpur, District Haridwar. 2. The applicant is in judicial custody for the offence under Section 3/5/11 of the Uttarakhand Protection of Cow Progeny Act, 2007. 3. As per the First Information Report, on a secret information, the police party raided the spot on 2025:UHC:626 2 02.01.2025 and 100 Kg. of beef, cutting equipments etc. were recovered from the spot. The applicant was arrested by the police party.1985 4. Heard Mr. Rajveer Singh, learned counsel for the applicant and Mr. Akshay Latwal, learned Brief Holder for the State. 5. Mr. Rajveer Singh, learned counsel for the applicant, has contended that the applicant has been falsely implicated in the present matter. He was not present at the spot. Nothing was recovered from his possession. He does not have any criminal antecedents. He is a permanent resident of District Haridwar, therefore, there is no chance of his absconding. 6. Mr. Akshay Latwal, learned Brief Holder, has opposed the bail application orally. 6. 7. Having considered the submissions of learned counsel for both the parties and in the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion as to the merit of the case, this Court is of the view that the applicant deserves bail at this stage. 8. The Bail Application is allowed. 9.
