PUBLIC PROSECUTOR (AP) The Court made the following: ORDER: The instant petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 19731 has been filed, by the Petitioners/Appellants/Accused, seeking to quash 1 for short ‘Cr.P.C’ 2 the Order dated 28.02.2024 in Crl.M.P.No.75 of 2024 in Crl.Appeal No.16 of 2024 on the file of the Court of II Additional District and Sessions Judge-cum-Special Court for trial of offences against Women, Prakasam District at Ongole to the extent of the condition of depositing 20% of the compensation amount of Rs.95,00,000/-. 2. At the time of hearing, Sri Gudiseva Venkata Sai Kiran, learned counsel for the Petitioners brought to the notice of the Court that a Coordinate Bench of this Court passed an interim order dated 22.04.2024 in this petition permitting the Petitioners to deposit 10% of the cheque amount instead of 20% of the amount out of the compensation amount. Learned counsel would further submit that the same may be made absolute. 3. Ms.K.Priyanka Lakshmi, learned Additional Public Prosecutor is in attendance. 4. Considering the submissions made, the Criminal Petition is disposed of and the interim order dated 22.04.2024 passed by a Coordinate Bench of this Court in this petition, is made absolute.
