State of J&K and others). Vide order, referred to above, the Writ Court while issuing the notice to the respondents had observed that the term of the private respondents shall not be extended till the adjourned date. The records show that vide a subsequent order dated December 16, 2022 on the request of learned counsel for the petitioner, the writ petition was dismissed as withdrawn and the interim direction was vacated. That being so, nothing substantive survives in the petition and the same is, accordingly, disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
