Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State. 2. The instant petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India has been filed, praying therein for the following relief :- "1. To issue order and direction to State Public Service Tribunal to proceed with and decide the claim petition no.-1932/2023 (Ram Brij Ram vs State of U.P. and others) pending before it, expeditiously within a time frame fixed by the Court, in the interest of justice. 2. To issue order and direction to State Public Service Tribunal UP Lucknow, until final disposal of the claim petition 1932/2023, interim relief application shall be heard and decided on date fixed." 3. It has been argued on behalf of the petitioner that the claim petition had been filed by the petitioner in the year 2023 and the same is pending till date. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that it would be in the interest of justice, if this Court directs the learned Tribunal to expedite the hearing of the claim petition in question and decide it within a fixed time frame. 5. Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State does not have any objection to the innocuous prayer made on behalf of the petitioner. 6. I have considered the arguments advanced by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and I find that the claim petition filed by the petitioner bearing Claim Petition No. 1932 of 2023 (Ram Brij Ram vs State of U.P. and others) is pending before the learned State Public Services Tribunal, Indira Bhawan, Lucknow since the year 2023. 7. In view of the aforesaid reasons, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the learned State Public Services Tribunal, Indira Bhawan, Lucknow to expedite the hearing of the Claim Petition No. 1932 of 2023 (Ram Brij Ram vs State of U.P. and others) and decide it expeditiously, preferably within a period of six months.
