Against the illegal functioning of the sixth respondent school, the petitioner lodged a complaint to the Chief Minister's Public Grievance Cell which was forwarded to the District Educational Officer (Private Schools), Tiruvallur. Though initially a show cause notice was issued, no further action was taken and so the petitioner filed W.P.No.12865 of 2024. This Court vide order dated 03.06.2024, disposed the writ petition recording the submission of the State Government Pleader that appropriate action would be taken within eight weeks. As no effective action was taken even thereafter despite the petitioner's representation dated 03.04.2024, the petitioner filed the above writ petition for the aforesaid relief. 3. Heard both sides. 4. At the time of hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the fifth respondent produced a copy of the order dated 03.03.2025, in Na.Ka.No.997/A4/2025 wherein it has been held that the recognition granted to the sixth respondent school was withdrawn for violation of the provisions of the Private Schools Regulation Act. 3/6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.No.8554 of 2025 and W.M.P.No.9571 of 2025 5. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that as the fifth respondent has passed orders withdrawing the recognition granted to the sixth respondent nothing survives for further adjudication in the above writ petition. 6. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed as infructuous. No costs.
