Petitioner states that he has never taken any electricity connection but has received citation of recovery mentioning an account number therein. counsel for the opposite party placed a bill in the name of Lalji Maurya with the address Baskhari Ramdular Bakshari U.P. India. Account numbered is mentioned as 7204791123 which is the one mentioned in the citation of recovery. Learned counsel for the petitioner further says that petitioner does not carry on any commercial activity. Let the petitioner move an application before the opposite party no. 3, who may get the facts verified and take such decision as may be required and permissible in law. Whatever decision is taken, it should be communicated to the petitioner at the earliest say within three weeks. Needless to say that an on- spot inspection shall be conducted before taking the decision. Only for a period of four weeks, the impugned recovery citation shall remain stayed. It shall abide by the decision to be taken. The writ petition is disposed of. The executive engineer may provide relevant documents such as electricity bill etc. or other proof to the petitioner, if it is found that in fact there is a connection in his name, in this process.
