The petitioners, who were promoted as Masters along with others vide order issued by the Director, School Education, Jammu bearing No. DSEJ/NG/M/Prom/7255-68 dated 11.02.2014, have approached this Court seeking appropriate directions to the respondents to suitably adjust them against the post of Masters. 02. It is alleged by the petitioners that several persons who were similarly promoted along with them were immediately adjusted as Masters, whereas no formal orders adjusting the petitioners were issued. Aggrieved thereof, the petitioners have filed the present petition. 03. This petition pertains to the year 2016 and, in all probabilities, the petitioners, who were promoted as Masters, might have already been adjusted. It is for this reason that the petitioners have not even taken steps for effecting service upon the respondents. 04. In view of the above, it is evident that the present petition has been rendered infructuous and, therefore, abandoned by the petitioners. 05.
