Following order was passed in the matter on 13.05.2025:-
“Notice. Ms. Leena Guleria, learned Deputy Advocate General , accepts service of notice on behalf of the respondents.
2. Petitioner is serving as TGT (Non-Medical) at GSSS Chagaon, District Kinnaur, H.P. After completion of much more than the tenure prescribed for serving the aforesaid hard and tribal area, petitioner was transferred under office order dated 06.05.2025

Petitioner’s grievance is that he has not been relieved under the aforesaid office order in view of condition No.4 imposed in the aforesaid transfer order that incumbent posted in a hard area and transferred to a soft area, will not be relieved without joining of the substitute. The aforesaid condition does not seem to be in order as the petitioner has completed much more than the normal tenure in hard/tribal area. It is for the respondents to ensure posting of someone else on account of petitioner’s transfer.
4. Let learned Deputy Advocate General to have instructions about petitioner’s relieving by the next date.
List on 16.05.2025.”

Learned Deputy Advocate General has placed on record office instructions dated 16.05.2025 to the effect that the substitute condition in the transfer order of the petitioner has been relaxed and he is to be relieved immediately. Learned Deputy Advocate General states that the petitioner stands relieved.

In view of above, since the relief prayed by the petitioner has now been granted to him by the respondents, the writ petition has worked itself out and to stand disposed of accordingly.
