5. According to the petitioner, her son died in a road accident in National Highway No. 109. It is alleged that the said accident occurred because there was no parapet on the side of the road. Petitioner has sought compensation for the loss of life of her son.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has made a representation on 28.3.2025. He submits that the competent authority may be
directed to take decision thereupon.
7. Learned State Counsel submits that he has no objection if the writ petition is
disposed of in terms of the prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner. He, however, submits that petitioner has made representation to a wrong authority and it should have been made to the Executive Engineer.

8. The writ petition is, accordingly,
disposed of with liberty to petitioner to make representation to the Executive Engineer concerned. If she makes such representation within one week from today, Executive Engineer shall take decision thereupon, as per law, within four months.
