The present Application under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 has been filed for regular bail in connection with the First Information Report No. 04 of 2025, registered at police station I.T.I., District Udham Singh Nagar. 2. The applicant Mohd. Akeel alias Akil is in judicial custody under Section 3/5/11 of the Uttarakhand Protection of Cow Progeny Act, 2007. 3. As per the First Information Report, on receiving a secret information on 03.01.2025, the police party raided the spot. The applicant and three 2025:UHC:632 2 co-accused were arrested on the spot. The police party recovered 30 kg of beef and cutting equipments etc. from the spot. 4. Heard Mr. Sanjay Kumar, learned counsel for the applicant and Mr. Bhaskar Chandra Joshi, learned A.G.A. for the State. 5. Mr. Sanjay Kumar, Advocate, has contended that the applicant has been falsely implicated in the present matter. He was not present at the spot. Nothing was recovered from his possession. He does not have any criminal antecedents, and, he is a permanent resident of District Udham Singh Nagar, therefore, there is no likelihood of his absconding. 6. Mr. Bhaskar Chandra Joshi, learned A.G.A., on the other hand, has opposed the bail application orally. 6. 7. Having considered the submissions of learned counsel for both the parties and in the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion as to the merit of the case, this Court is of the view that the applicant deserves bail at this stage. 8. The Bail Application is allowed. 9. Let the applicant – Mohd.
