Petitioner was an employee of Uttarakhand Transport Corporation, who retired from service, on 31.12.2019. According to him, he has not been granted benefit of 6th Pay Commission w.e.f. 01.01.2006. 3. By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought the following relief: “a. Issue a writ, order, direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent no. 2 & 3 to grant the petitioner the full benefits of the 6th Pay Commission effective from 01.01.2006, along with all arrears and applicable interest.” 4. Learned counsel for Uttarakhand Transport Corporation submits that if petitioner makes representation, the same shall be examined by the competent authority. 5. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of by permitting the petitioner to make representation to Managing Director, Uttarakhand Transport Corporation, within three weeks from today.
