This application has been preferred by the petitioner for modification in the order dated 07.09.2020 in B. A. No. 5608 of 2020. The modification which has been sought for is with respect to deposit of demand draft drawn in the name of the informant for the amount of Rs. 4,00,000/- in connection with Lalpur P. S. Case No. 83 of 2020. Various grounds have been taken by the petitioner in this application indicating his inability to deposit the amount as directed by this court in B. A. No. 5608 of 2020. Since the bail granted to the petitioner vide order dated 07.09.2020 passed in B. A. No. 5608 of 2020 was subject to the condition of deposit of a demand draft drawn in the name of the informant for an amount of Rs. 4,00,000/- and since in this application, a modification has been sought for with respect to the same vide order dated 21.08.2025, the learned A.P.P. was directed to verify as to whether the petitioner has been released on bail or not.
