By way of filing this petition, a prayer has been made for issuing direction to the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for promotion to the post of Assistant Traffic Inspector. 2. At the outset, learned counsel for the respondents apprised this Court the petitioner was not having requisite qualification for getting promotion to the post of Assistant Traffic Inspector, hence his case was not considered. Counsel submits that the petitioner is not entitled to get any relief. 3. Considering the arguments put forward by the learned counsel for the respondents and looking to the fact that the [2025:RJ-JP:6511] (2 of 2) [CW-6535/2008] petitioner was not in possession of the requisite qualification, i.e, Senior Secondary/ Higher Secondary, hence, the respondents have not caused any illegality in not considering the case of the petitioner for promotion to the post of Assistant Traffic Inspector. 4. This Court does not find any merit and substance in the instant petition. Accordingly, the instant petition stands dismissed. 5. All pending application(s), if any, also stand dismissed.
