JUSTICE SOUMITRA SAIKIA ORDER 18.06.2025 Heard Mr. R Bhuyan, learned counsel for the applicant. Also heard Ms. N. Borah, learned Standing Counsel, P&RD. This interlocutory application has been filed seeking an extension of the transfer order. The transfer order was suspended by this Court by order dated 17.03.2025 passed in W.P(C) No. 1349/2025 while issuing notice, the transfer order was to remain suspended till the next returnable date. The matter came to be listed thereafter on 23.04.2025 on which date perhaps prayer was made for extension of the interim order, but the same was not extended. The respondents have not filed any application seeking vacating or modification of the interim order. Under such circumstances, this Court is of the view that mere non-extension of the interim order by the Court without there be a specific direction to that effect should not put the petitioner to any disadvantage. In that view of the matter, this Court extends the interim order dated 17.03.2025 passed by this Court till the next returnable date.
