Heard Mr. DP. Sahu, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. S. Niranjan, learned G.A. for the State respondent. [2]
The case of the petitioner is that he is the owner of the agricultural land under patta No. 202/289 and Dag No. 287/428 of Lamsang Sub-division, Imphal West and possession of 1.38 acres in revenue village No. 79-Longa Koireng, Imphal West. [3]
It is stated that the respondents have refused to land revenue from the petitioner from the year 2021. It is prayed that the petitioner be permitted to enjoy his land without any hindrance. [4]
Mr. S. Niranjan, learned G.A. for the State respondent, submits that writ petition may be disposed of by giving direction to the State Authority to accept the land revenue in terms of Annexure-A/3 (Colly). [5]
This Court has perused the materials on record and considered the submissions made at the bar. [6]
Writ petition is disposed of by directing the State respondents to admissible land revenue from the petitioner in terms of the receipt annexed as Annexure-A/3 (Colly). However, the petitioner is at liberty to approach appropriate forum for other remedy.
