Also heard Ms. A. Talukdar, learned Junior Government Advocate for the opposite party. This Interlocutory Application (I.A.) has been filed seeking the impleadment of the Commissioner and Secretary, Government of Assam, Personnel (B) Department, Dispur, Guwahati–06, as a respondent in the accompanying writ petition, WP(C)/3121/2025. It is submitted that in the said writ petition, the petitioner has, inter alia, prayed for setting aside the Office Memorandum dated 18.09.2024, issued by the Commissioner and Secretary, Personnel (B) Department. However, due to an oversight at the time of filing the writ petition, the said State Department was not arrayed as a party respondent. Therefore, the present I.A. has been filed. Ms. A. Talukdar, learned Junior Government Advocate, does not oppose the prayer made. In view of the above, the Interlocutory Application stands allowed at this stage without issuance of notice. The Commissioner and Secretary, Government of Assam, Personnel (B) Department, Dispur, Guwahati–06 shall be arrayed as respondent no. 6 in WP(C)/3121/2025.
