The instant petition has been filed seekinginitiation of contempt proceedings against the respondents for their willful dis-obedience and non-compliance of the judgment dated 22.07.2024 passed by this Court in WP(C) No. 2550/2021, whereby a direction was issued to the Government to accord sanction to the appointment of the petitioner as Follower in the J&K Armed Police in relaxation to rules. 02. Pursuant to the notice issued in the present contempt proceedings, the respondents have filed a compliance report along with a copy of Government Order No. 2002 of 26 dated 10.07.2026, whereby sanction has been accorded to the appointment of the petitioner as Follower in the J&K Armed Police in relaxation to the rules. 03. In view of the aforesaid compliance, the judgment dated 22.07.2024 stands duly complied with. Accordingly, no further proceedings survive in the present contempt petition, which is, therefore, dismissed.
