Heard learned counsel for the applicant, learned AGA for the State and perused the record. The instant application under section 483 Cr.P.C. has been filed with the prayer for direction to learned Principal Judge, Family Court to decide the Case No. 170 of 2022; Manpreet Kaur wife of Manpreet Singh, under Section 128 of Cr.P.C. as well as the application dated 30.11.2023, expeditiously. Learned counsel appearing for the applicant submits that the matter pertains to the year 2022, but even after passing of three years, the proceeding of the case has not been concluded as yet. After arguing at length, learned counsel appearing for the applicant submits that interest of justice would be sub-surved if this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to direct the trial court to decide the matter within the stipulated period of time as may be fixed by this court.
