Srinagar, District Srinagar (Kashmir) 4. The Commandant, 213 Battalion, Central Reserve Police Force, Dalda Factory, Latehar, P.O. and P.S. Latehar, District Latehar ------ Respondent(s) …… CORAM : SRI ANANDA SEN, J. ------ For the Petitioner(s) : Mr. Ajay Kr. Trivedi, Advocate For the Respondent(s) : Mr. Ravi Prakash, C.G.C. …...... 04 / 02.01.2025: The petitioner by filing this writ petition is challenging the order of punishment as contained in Annexure-3. The petitioner is a member of force and is working in C.R.P.F. 2. By the impugned order, he has been awarded punishment of stoppage of increment for three years with cumulative effect. The said order at Annexure-3 was passed in February, 2008. The petitioner has approached this Court challenging the said order by filing this writ petition only on 08.05.2024 i.e. after about 16 years. Further, he has also not availed the remedy of Appeal and Revision during this period rather, he has directly approached the Court after sixteen years challenging the same. 3. Considering the huge delay and latches, I am not inclined to entertain this writ petition, the same is dismissed. (ANANDA SEN, J.) R.S.
