Petitioner is compelled to knock the doors of this Court alleging that there is complete inaction on the part of the respondent No.4/Tahsildar in not placing - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC:7674 WP No. 2672 of 2025 petitioner's application before the committee for consideration of his claim. 3. Learned HCGP, on instructions, submits that Tahsildar will strictly act under sub-Rule (3) of Rule 108(CCC) of the Karnataka Land Revenue Rules, 1966 and secure spot inspection and other circumstantial evidence and place the same before the committee for further course of action. 4. Recording his assurance, this Court proceeds to pass the following: ORDER (i) Writ petition is allowed; (ii) Respondent No.4/Tahsildar is directed to forthwith secure report/spot inspection as provided under sub-Rule (3) of Rule 108(CCC) read with Section 94(A) of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1964; (iii) After securing appropriate report, respondent No.4/Tahsildar shall ensure that - 4 - NC: 2025:KHC:7674 WP No. 2672 of 2025 application is placed before the committee for further course of action; (iv) This exercise shall be accomplished within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
